Navigate to 1229 W 3rd St Unit B, Santa Ana, CA 92703.

You'll see a grey house with a driveway on the right side of the building. Drive into the driveway to reach your garage spot.

Your apartment is in the front of the house facing the main street. Walk back toward the street and up the steps: there are two doors, yours is the one on the left, marked "B".

You can park outside the garage briefly while you go inside to grab the garage remote (it's on the right of the door when you enter).

⚠️ You MUST park INSIDE the garage during your stay. Cars parked outside may be towed.

Getting Inside

The door has a Yale smart lock. Press the Yale logo to wake the keypad, enter your code, then press the checkmark ✓ and wait for the click. To lock when you leave, press the Yale logo. Your unique door code is sent to you by email or text message on the day of arrival.

Keep the AC at 69°F or Above

Please do not lower the AC under 69°. The unit will freeze, and you will be out of AC for your entire stay. We will not be able to get it fixed because we have to schedule an AC company to come out, and it takes a minimum of a week. Please, please, please do not lower it under 69°.

Can I check in early or check out late?
Yes, for $65 each. Call or text 714-794-2566 to arrange. Unapproved late checkouts are $75 per 30 minutes after 11 AM.
Are pets allowed?
Yes — dogs only, max 2, approved in advance, $35/pet/night. Service animals and ESAs are exempt from the fee.
Is mail delivered?
No. Use a nearby UPS Store or USPS for any mail or packages.
The shower isn't getting hot
Run it on cold for 5–10 minutes first, then switch to hot and give it another couple of minutes. It takes a while to heat up. Still cold? Text 714-794-2566.
How do I use the AC and heat?
The wall unit does both. For cool: set it to Cool and don't go below 69°F or it can freeze up (72°F is the sweet spot). For heat: set it to Heat, raise the temperature above the room temperature, and set the fan to Auto.
How does the washer/dryer combo work?
It's one machine that washes and dries. If the door stays locked after a cycle, run a short drying cycle and wait for the finish sound, then try again. If it still won't open, unplug it for 1–2 minutes, plug it back in, and run another cycle.
The garbage disposal stopped working
Make sure the switch under the sink is on and run cold water while it's on. If it hums or stops, press the red reset button on the bottom of the unit under the sink. Never put large or hard items down it.
The smoke detector is chirping
A short chirp means a low battery. Text us and we'll swap it. It can also beep briefly if the oven is used with the door open.
The Wi-Fi dropped
The router is in your unit under the large wall mirror. Unplug it for 10 seconds and plug it back in. If it's still down, send us a photo of the router lights and we'll take it from there. (The unit next door shares this router, so please don't move it.)

Before You Leave

  1. Take trash out to the outdoor bins and wash any dishes you used
  2. Leave used towels in the bathroom (not on the floor). No need to strip the beds
  3. Put the TV, AC, and garage remotes back by the door
  4. Turn off all lights, AC/heat, and appliances
  5. Close and lock all doors and windows, and put your car's garage remote back inside
  6. Check for belongings in the bedrooms, bathroom, and common areas
  7. Out by 11:00 AM — late checkout is $75 per 30 minutes if not pre-arranged
Items left behind can be shipped back at your cost plus a $50 handling fee. We hold them for 5 days.
